Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like NetSuite and SAP house critical spec information that customers bring into Specright. However, ERPs were not meant to hold the detailed level of specification data that Specright was built for. Specright acts as a strong foundation that enriches existing ERP and other systems, speeding up the process of getting products to market without having to reimagine every enterprise solution. Discover how Specright can integrate with your ERP systems and provide the accurate, foundational data it needs.
“The thing that is really nice about Specright is that it has some of the open interfaces where they can actually tie into some other platforms we currently use … Specright can be the source of truth for a lot of our information and communicates with other systems so we can continue to operate efficiently.”

What is ERP?
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems centralize data across departments, enhancing organizational efficiency and decision making. Some business units ERPs help include, but are not limited to, supply chain, manufacturing, compliance and risk management, and finance. Specification Data Management is the foundation for ERPs, providing accessible, understandable, and up-to-date data for these systems to operate from.
Specright integrates with several ERP systems to meet all of your company’s needs. Three out of every five integrations with Specright involve an ERP system. Some of the ERP systems that we have integrated with in the past include SAP, Infor, JD Edwards, Microsoft Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics AX, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, IFS.
A typical flow involves details of new items flowing from the ERP into Specright. Within Specright, the item is enriched with additional details, such as material information, then synced back to the ERP item record. In addition to items, the supplier or vendor records are also commonly integrated from the ERP to Specright.
SAP
Specright’s Specification Data Management platform integrates with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Master Data Governance to help run core processes which enable analytics and supplier collaboration. This further drives cost savings, sustainability, and speed to market across customers’ supply chains.
NetSuite is another common ERP that Specright routinely integrates with. Specright has established a Software Development Kits (SDK) to enable faster development times for integrations built between Specright and NetSuite.
